The second round of the men's golf world championship series was held in Florida, USA on the 26th, and Hideki Matsuyama greatly improved his score and moved up to 12th place, 5 strokes behind the lead.

Matsuyama, who started from 35th place, improved his score by deciding an eagle on the 13th hole where he hit a double bogey in the first round.



In the second round, Matsuyama went around with 6 unders, 1 eagle, 7 birdies, and 3 bogies, and moved up to 12th place, 5 strokes behind the lead, with a total of 6 unders.



Matsuyama said, "It's been a while since I've been engaged. A good flow has come with the 13th eagle. It's most important to play with good rhythm. I want to keep that in mind on the third day as well."



Yuki Inamori also increased his score by four and moved up from 44th to 20th with a total of 3 under.



Brooks Koepka of the United States took the lead with a total of 11 under.
