Charlotte Kalla has had a tough season.

When the World Cup starts for her today, it is not a good position she would like to achieve.

- Performance will be super important, if I succeed, the results will usually come.

But it will be far too unfair to start talking about placements, now it's about doing my best, she tells SVT Sport.

Covid-19 destroyed large parts of the season opener for Kalla.

She did her first World Cup competition in January, where she did a strong relay distance, when the team finished second.

In Falun it was heavier, with, among other things, a 48th place.

"Very happy that I was able to keep that level"

On the women's side, there are many who have performed well during the season and the competition is great.

When the World Cup squad was to be presented, many thought that Kalla would not get a place.

- I am very happy that I went fast in Lahti and that the national team management thought it qualified me for the World Cup.

Even though the results have not been tight and I have not competed that much, I am very happy that I was able to keep that level.

says Kalla.
