The women's golf domestic tour tournament to be held in Okinawa Prefecture in March will be held with up to 1000 spectators a day.

Due to the influence of the new coronavirus, all domestic tours of women's golf last year were conducted without spectators, and the tournament with spectators will be the first in one year and three months.



Due to the influence of the new Corona, domestic tours of women's golf have been canceled one after another, the seasons of last year and this year have been integrated, and all 14 tournaments held last year were held without spectators.



Under these circumstances, the tournament secretariat announced that it will accept up to 1000 spectators a day in principle for the first match of the event to be held in Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture from the 4th to the 7th of next month.



The average number of spectators per day at this tournament was 3,500, so at the tournament, the temperature was measured at the entrance, the aisle in the course was wide, and the spectator seats were arranged to ensure social distance. It means to thoroughly take measures against infection.



It is the first time in a year and three months that a domestic tour of women's golf will be held with spectators, and Mamiko Higa, a local player who won the championship, and Hinako Shibuno will participate in the tournament.
