The trend towards German coaches seems to be increasing in the English Premier League.

According to a report in the newspaper "The Telegraph", Julian Nagelsmann from RB Leipzig is allegedly the top candidate at Tottenham Hotspur if they split up with José Mourinho.

Jürgen Klopp is currently working for Liverpool FC and Thomas Tuchel for Chelsea FC for top English clubs, and the Austrian Ralph Hasenhüttl from Southampton FC also has Bundesliga experience at RB Leipzig.

Mourinho and Spurs have lost five of their last six league games and fell from the top of the table to ninth place.

Star coach Mourinho no longer has any support in the Spurs fan base.

Nagelsmann makes no secret of his ambitions to want to train a European top club outside of the Bundesliga.

Whether he wanted to do this in the short term and whether Tottenham falls into this category is at least questionable.

The 33-year-old has a contract with RB that is valid until 2023 without an exit clause and would not improve his sporting skills with a move to London.

In addition, CEO Oliver Mintzlaff had repeatedly emphasized that Nagelsmann would continue to work in Leipzig in the coming season.

Tottenahm wants to buy Sabitzer

The interest of the Spurs is not surprising, after all, they were eliminated last season in the last sixteen of the Champions League with no chance against Leipzig.

This season, the traditional club from north London only plays in the Europa League.

The interest of the Spurs in RB captain Marcel Sabitzer is deposited.

The Austrian international still has a contract in Leipzig until 2022, so far there have been no talks about an extension.

In Leipzig's 3-0 second leg against Tottenham a year ago, he scored two goals.
