Marwan Mohsen participates in Al-Ahly's training before confronting Simba, who is Tanzanian

Marwan Mohsen, the striker of the first football team of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, participated in a part of the team's team training that was held at Gymkhana Stadium in Tanzania this afternoon.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, the team doctor, confirmed in statements to the official website of his club today, Sunday, that Marwan participated in the physical exercises and paragraphs of training with the ball naturally at the beginning of the training.

He added: "The coaching staff, led by Pitso Musimane, preferred not to participate in the division, in order to ensure his safety, and so that his injury would not be renewed, as he would gradually return to participate in the division."

He explained that the left wing, Taher Mohamed Taher, will organize the team’s collective training starting next Thursday, after the team’s return from Tanzania after recovering from a strain in the connective muscle that caused him to be absent from facing the Sudanese Mars and was not part of the mission in Tanzania.

He stressed that Tunisian left-back Ali Maaloul, left-back of the team, has begun to recover from his injury to a hamstring muscle.

Abu Abla said that Maaloul will gradually organize group exercises, starting next Thursday, for a period of 48 hours, after which he will normally participate in group training.

He said that Maaloul will be ready to participate in the next matches after facing Simba, Tanzania, after the player finishes his solo qualifying program in Cairo.

Al-Ahly of Egypt is preparing to face the Tanzanian team Simba tomorrow, Tuesday, in the second round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
