Before tonight's SHL matches, Linköping was last in the SHL, on the same points but with a worse goal difference than Oskarshamn.

When the teams met in Oskarshamn, it was an even settlement, where two quick goals in the second period decided.

Kelleher ended the goal drought

First, 9.15 into the second period, Max Veronneau threw in a shot from the right technical circle, which apparently easily bounced on goalkeeper David Rautio and into goal.

Just 60 seconds later, Tyler Kelleher ended up with a ten-match goal drought when he got hold of a puck that bounced both here and there after a shot and put 3-1.

- It felt good to see it go in the net, it is always nice to score, Kelleher says to C More, where he claims that the goal drought did not bother him significantly:

- I just try to play my game, and it does not matter so much which player scores.

So I do not think much about it.

Leaving the qualifying match

Oskarshamn eventually won 4-1 after Joakim Thelin was sent off in a free position when David Rautio had left the net, which led the referees to award goals.

With the victory, Oskarshamn leaves, at least temporarily, the negative qualifying spot.

- A real team winner.

I think the whole match stands and weighs back and forth, it's a really tight mach.

But we win matches in front of goals that we have not done lately, says coach Martin Filander to C More.
