It started hard for Sweden.

Peppe Femling shot three booms in the first, horizontal shooter - and first switched as the eleventh skier.

But Jepser Nelin accounted for a fully approved distance, and only needed an extra shot on his two shooters, and went up Sweden to eighth place.

Flawless by Samuelsson

Martin Ponsiluoma had some problems on the embankment and needed a total of three extra shots, but had good speed in the track and when he switched to Sebastian Samuelsson, Sweden was in sixth place, with 17 seconds up to the Russian team in third place.

Samuelsson shot full in the horizontal

And after Sebastian Samuelsson's fast and flawless shooting on the ground, Sweden was suddenly up in third place - and when both the Italian and the Frankish skier missed several shots, the medal was ready.

Samuelsson left the embankment in third place, just three seconds behind Russian Eduard Latypov in second place.

Latypov never managed

And Samuelsson did not need long to walk around and past Latypov.

Latypov could not hang on at all, and the silver was taken without it being nearly exciting in the end, and he was able to cross the finish line with a Swedish flag in his hand.

- Fantastic, says SVT Sports expert Björn Ferry.

- It is an absolutely incredible distance he does.

Norway took gold

The silver is Sweden's best bet ever in a men's relay in the biathlon world championships.

However, they took gold in the 2018 Olympics. In total, Sweden has now won six medals in this championship - the best of all time.

Norway took a superior gold, and it became a Russian bronze.
