Finland, which has not played in the European Championships since 2013, has now secured a ticket to the European Championships in England next summer.

And it was a really cool decision when Linda Sällström, who played in Sweden for ten years where she was in Djurgården, Linköping and Vittsjö, saved Finland in the 93rd minute when she made it 1-0.

- It feels so incredibly fun to see how happy everyone is and how much this means to the whole team.

We have done this together, she tells Yle.

"It is very unpretentious"

Finland has decided several matches late.

And that's something the hero is not used to.

- It is very unpretentious, says Sällström and laughs.

- We have had a little flow with us.

Maybe it is our Swedish coach (Signeul) who came with the Swedish tour, says Sällström and looks at Anna Signeul.

- I do not know if it is particularly Swedish, Signeul answers.

- Yes, we think so, says Sällström.

Compare the team with Linn Svahn

Even though she does not agree that luck is necessarily a Swedish thing, the Swedish national team captain Signeul finds something else that was a bit Swedish in the team - the resemblance to the Swedish long distance star Linn Svahn.

- Linn never gives in to the riot.

She always believes in it.

This team shows the same thing.

They believe they can win the race.

We can only hope that it lasts, she says.
