Sweden won its first medal in the World Cup in Cortina earlier today.
It was silver after a dramatic final against Norway in the team parallel.
In the second run, Swedish Kristoffer Jakobsen came too close to Sebastian Foss Solevåg's track, according to the Norwegian who then chose to interrupt his run - something that resulted in the jury deciding that the ride should be taken over.
Norwegian expert Kjetil André Aamodt is critical of this.
- It's completely wrong in my head!
If Jakobsen disturbs Sebastian, he will win the duel.
That result must stand, or you must wash the Swede (for having gone into the Norwegian's course, editor's note), says Aamodt in NRK's WC studio.
But it all ended in the end with Norwegian gold and silver to Sweden after Foss Solevåg won the duel which was thus run over.
