Shohei Ohtani of the Major League Baseball Angels entered the camp in Arizona on the 17th, and started the fourth year of the Major League Baseball aiming to revive the dual wield style of throwing from the injury of his right elbow.

The Major League Baseball began camp on the 17th with a battery pair of pitchers and catchers, and the Angels started camp in Tempe, Arizona.

Otani, who is in the fourth year of the major league, also entered the stadium after 7:30 am and started to move with stretching and catching balls from 9 am.

Otani pitched only two games last season as a pitcher, and in August he was diagnosed with a muscle injury near his right elbow, so he devoted himself to the batter after that.

I worked on rehabilitation off and aimed to revive the dual wield style of throwing again this season, and with catch ball, I threw about 40 powerful balls at a distance of nearly 40 meters.

According to the team, Otani later acted as a batting pitcher and threw about 40 more balls, and also did weight training, so the first day of the camp was about 3 hours.

Coach Joe Maddon revealed that Otani was throwing a ball over 150 kg during the off-season pitching practice. "Otani has been in good shape during the off-season. I've heard that there is no need to limit anything. "

The Angels battery group camp will be held until the 21st of this month, and from the 22nd, other fielders will join and the whole practice will begin.
