Four Swedish football players are charged with match-fixing-related crimes, and are suspended during the disciplinary committee's investigation.

When the investigation is complete and they fall is not yet clear, but now SVT Sport can reveal how harsh penalties the Swedish Football Association's federal lawyer Christine Stidsberg has demanded in her report.

"One-time delusion"

The most profiled player, who has played in the Allsvenskan and is now a professional abroad, she wants to suspend for four and a half years.

"The complainant then took into account in a mitigating direction that X's action was, as it turned out, a one-off offense caused by extensive gambling abuse, and that it can be expected that the suspension will affect X's ability to continue earning a living as a football player," the report states. .

Also the profession of six years

She also wants to suspend the two futsal players, for five and six years respectively.

"His actions have been central to the great negative publicity that the current prosecution has caused Swedish football," Stridsberg writes about one of the futsal players in his report.

The fourth player, who plays at a lower level, she wants to suspend for at least six years.

"X does not have as prominent a position in Swedish football or futsal as the others, but has nevertheless been a central part of the set-up in both cases," she motivates.

- We have a number of signs that match-fixing occurs a lot in Swedish football, and is something that we put a lot of resources on and prioritize.

So this is of course an important case for us, and it is important for us to turn off those who are doing this, says Stridsberg to SVT Sport, and clarifies that her demands can change depending on the players' opinions:

- But usually it does not change much.

Right now I am responsible for the opinions that are in the notification.

May be shut down globally

The ex-Allsvenskan player was recently suspended globally by Fifa pending the Swedish Football Association's ruling.

- If he were also convicted by the disciplinary committee, it is very likely that we will submit a wish to Fifa that they do the same even then, Stridsberg says.

All players deny the crime.
