He pointed out that the love of the slogan used to overwhelm anything material in a previous period, and explained: “We used to play for nothing, as there was no professionalism and contracts, and we were already sacrificing many things in order to practice the ball, and after long years of playing professionalism came, and I signed My first contract was in Dibba Al-Hisn, the club in which I grew up and rose to the limelight, and it was the first rise in the history of the club, as we found ourselves playing with adults and people with potential and with international players and under the media spotlight, while in (amateurs) we did not get the necessary media coverage. .

He said that the joy of ascending at that time pervaded every city of Dibba Al-Hisn, and lasted for a long time, and extended to all its neighboring areas, indicating that they are historical moments that he will not forget.

Regarding the secrets of continuing throughout this period in the stadiums, he said that the secret lies in diligence with exercises, and avoiding staying up late, because the body needs a long rest in addition to healthy nutrition.

He added: “When I played football, I did not plan at all to continue for all these years, but thanks to God and the encouragement of my family and the clubs that I played for, it continues to this day.

He stressed that this season will be the last in his long career, and explained: “I cannot continue in the stadiums, and I want to end my career by completing Al-Bataih’s rise to the Arabian Gulf League, so that I can devote myself to spending all my time with my family and my children who have been patient with me for all these years, and with this I do not know what the future holds for us. ”

Regarding the clubs he played for, he said that after five years in Dibba Al-Hisn, he had an experience with Dibba Al-Fujairah, who had distinguished years in his career, and twice rose to the limelight, in the first as an amateur summer and in the second as a champion, and he said that they continued after that for four consecutive seasons In the professional, he added: “After eight years I left Dibba for Khor Fakkan, and in the first year I went up to the professional after 10 years in amateurs, under the leadership of the Iraqi coach, Abdul Wahab Abdul Qadir, who was like my father.”

He concluded: "I thought about retiring after the promotion season and the end of my contract, but I decided again to go through an experience with Al-Bataih, for which I have been playing for two seasons, and we achieved good results, and we were close to going up last season before it was canceled, and we are striving in the current season to achieve this dream."

It is noteworthy that Al-Bataih ranks third in the Amateur League standings with 20 points, four points behind leaders UAE, and one point from Al-Orouba, the runner-up.

Al Naqbi contributed, in previous seasons, to the rise of the clubs of Dibba Al Hisn, Dibba Al Fujairah, and Khor Fakkan.
