The coach of the XV of France, Fabien Galthié, was "diagnosed positive for Covid-19", the French Rugby Federation announced on Tuesday February 16.

A test carried out on Monday revealed a case within the technical staff of the Blues and another "suspicious and unsuccessful" concerning Galthié, who was retested on Tuesday.

Players and management, gathered in Marcoussis, were placed in solitary confinement.

The coach coach of #XVdeFrance, Fabien Galthié, was diagnosed positive for Covid-19 today.



This diagnosis was established following a test this morning, in verification of a PCR test carried out the day before.

Winner Sunday of the Irish selection in Dublin, the XV of France is currently leader of the Six Nations Tournament and aims to win it for the first time since 2011. Its next match is to take place on February 28 in Paris.
