Ottawa visited Toronto last night.

They came to the match with a fresh victory in the back after breaking a four-match losing streak and tonight it looked like they would lose again.

But after a super turnaround and a decisive extra time, they won 6-5.

- Anything can happen and we never stopped playing.

We took it shot by shot, goal by goal, says match hero Yevgeni Dadonov.

With one minute left of the second period, Toronto had gained a comfortable 5-1 lead and looked like they could only play the rest of the match.

"Gives us confidence"

But Ottawa did not want to give up.

With nine seconds left in the middle period, Nick Paul put 2-5.

It was followed by three Ottawa goals in the final period which ensured that the match went to extra time.

And there the guests were strongest.

2.19 into overtime, Yevgeni Dadonov decided for Ottawa.

- It is an important win.

Now we have two straight victories, it gives us confidence, says Yevgeni Dadonov who became a two-goal shooter.
