The derby between Tampa Bay and the Florida Panthers was an even event and at first quite goalless.

But the middle period offered a full seven goals and Florida went into the final period with a 5-4 lead.

Once there, Anton Strålman, who just left Tampa Bay before last season, followed up his assist to the 5-2 goal by sending in the decisive 6-4.

His first goal of the season.

- We could not handle it so well there in others.

We adjusted to the period rest, calmed down a bit.

There was a lot of frustration in the locker room.

To breathe a little, and then go out and do that goal.

To get some space and respite, and put some pressure on them.

It was big, says Strålman to TT.

Important victory

The victory is the Panthers' third in the last four games.

It was especially important to get an away win, especially against Tampa Bay, where Florida has traditionally had a tough time.

- It's big, we want to be a good away team, so it may not always have been before.

We really try to push ourselves to get points with us when we play away, it will make a difference in the end, says Strålman.
