There have been some doubts about several of the Swedish women skiers before the World Cup, which starts in less than two weeks.

Charlotte Kalla has had a difficult season where she has had covid disease, back problems and partly weak results.

Frida Karlsson's condition has been discussed.

At first there was information that she was "overtrained", but this was strongly denied by the Swedish national ski team.

Linn Svahn fell in the sprint in Ulricehamn and was forced to cancel competitions after getting a shoulder injury.

"Feel basically nothing"

The skiers are now at a charging camp in Saxnäs and the women's coach Magnus Ingesson is now giving reassuring information about the Swedish stars.

- Frida Karlsson is fine, we are at charging camp now but it is flowing, he says to SVT Sport.

What is the status of Linn Svahn's shoulder?

- It is also going very well, she is skiing now and feels basically nothing off the shoulder right now so it floats on and goes as intended.

"Completed tougher workouts"

Charlotte Cold then?

- It is also progressing all the time, she has been able to complete tougher sessions and it also flows according to plan.

So no worries for the Swedes before the World Cup?

- No, concludes Magnus Ingesson.
