Austrian Marco Schwarz won his first world title at 25 on Monday, dominating the combined of the Alpine Skiing World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italy), ahead of Frenchman Alexis Pinturault and Swiss Loïc Meillard.
Schwarz set the fastest time at the end of a super-G round and a slalom round to win 4/100 ahead of Pinturault, the defending champion, and 1 sec 12 ahead of Meillard.
A fatal fault in slalom
The Habs, second at the end of the morning super-G, made a big indoor fault in the middle of the layout which did not allow him to keep his crown gleaned in 2019 in Are (Sweden).
At 29, he pocketed a fifth world medal after bronze in the super-G on Thursday.
He will have two more chances to do better this week with the Giant and the slalom.

The Canadian James Crawford, surprisingly best time in the super-G, finished fourth on an icy track, where several top names - Kriechmayr, Mayer ... - made a mistake.
Frenchman Victor Muffat-Jeandet finished sixth at 3 sec 19. The third Tricolor in contention, Nils Allègre, slightly affected after the super-G, did not start the slalom.
