Norwegian star Tirill Eckhoff has started the biathlon world championships in Pokljuka brilliantly and took his third gold out of three possible in the championship.

It was a superior victory in the hunt start after a total of two booms.

For the Swedes, just like in the sprint, there was no full hit.

"Not enough"

Hanna Öberg, who finished tenth, did not really have the speed in the track and two booms in the third shooter sabotaged the medal chances.

She landed on a total of three booms after a full final shooting.

Öberg finished 13th and best Swedish.

- For Hanna, it is not enough to ride.

The real top form that we know Hanna has in her, she does not seem to have now at the World Cup.

There must be some kind of miracle before the distance competition in a few days, says SVT Sports expert Björn Ferry.

Many boom on the Swedes

Behind Norwegian winner Tiril Eckhoff was Austrian Lisa Hauser second.

Frenchwoman Anaïs Chevalier-Bouchet, who was second in the sprint, won the bronze.

Elvira Öberg became the second best Swede in 14th place with three booms in total.

Linn Persson was 19th with four booms.

Mona Brorsson was 53rd
