On Tuesday, national team captain Peter Gerhardsson presented the squad for the national team camp in Malta next week.
The squad included Zećira Mušović, Jonna Andersson and Magdalena Eriksson - all three of whom play for Chelsea.
From the beginning, Gerhardsson knew that the Chelsea trio could be stopped from the camp - then players from England were not allowed to enter Malta.

- It also means that we have selected three clear replacements in Emma Holmgren, Amanda Nildén and Emma Kullberg, the national team captain said at the press conference on Tuesday.
Malta's authorities update the restrictions every Friday and today the news came that the trio will be stopped.
During the camp in Malta, Sweden plays two international matches, one against Austria and one against Malta.
Both matches will be broadcast on SVT on 19 and 23 February respectively.
