South Africa celebrates the coronation of Egypt's "third world" Al-Ahly

South Africa Al-Ahly of Egypt participated in its celebrations after winning the bronze medal in the FIFA Clubs World Cup, at the expense of Brazilian Palmeiras in penalties in the match to determine the third and fourth places, which took place on Thursday.


Danny Jordan, president of the South African Football Association, said: "We are proud of what South African Betsu Musimane has achieved (Al-Ahly coach), and proud of him as a brand for South Africa and the continent."

He added, "Africa is striving to play an equal role in global football, and Musimani shows that, with the appropriate organization and resources, that Africa can match the best in the world."


He continued: "Musimane has shown his professionalism and dedication to the game, and South Africa and Africa must continue to produce such heroes to take the game to another level."


The South African coach succeeded in achieving with Al-Ahly the African Champions League title and the Egyptian Cup title, and he continued his successes with the Egyptian giant by obtaining the world bronze.
