Sandra Näslund injured her knee before the season and has missed all World Cup competitions.

But she came to the start in Wednesday's World Cup qualifier where she finished second.

Tomorrow Saturday, it's time to settle for the World Cup medals.

On Friday morning, Näslund was interviewed in SVT's Morgonstudion about how the form feels.

- It feels pretty good, the form seems to be completely okay and I got a good qualifier so it's fun to be up and running again, says Näslund.

How is your knee?

- Today I think it feels good.

I had some rest yesterday which was probably good.

But you went cross-country skiing yesterday?

- Yes, you can try to invent a few things now that there is no gym available.

Cross-country skiing worked well, so then cross-country skiing should do the same.

"Is here to fight for the medals"

Last season, Sandra Näslund took home the overall World Cup.

But this season she has not yet ridden anything in the World Cup due to the knee injury.

But despite that, the focus is on medals.

- I'm here to fight for the medals.

But this course is tough but I have done well during training and qualifiers and hopefully I can keep my nerves in check.

"Barely feel it"

How much can you trust your knee?

- I have to try to bring with me that once I go, I barely feel it, even if it feels from the start, I have to think about it.

Now I have three days in the track and also some rest so hopefully it will feel better now.

Näslund won World Cup gold four years ago and now she hopes it's time again.

- I would like to repeat that, Näslund concludes.
