29-year-old Lara Gut-Behrami is in great shape at the moment.

The long period between 2018 and 2020 when she did not manage to win any competition is over with information.

After four straight victories in the World Cup this season, she stood a podium for the press and had to stand at the top with a World Cup gold medal around her neck in a sunny Cortina in Italy.

The big favorite Gut-Behrami, who has two World Cup medals in super-G before (five medals in total), a bronze from Sankt Moritz 2017 and a silver medal in Schladming 2013, went out as the seventh skier and drove over the finish line with a lead of 34 hundredths.

She kept that lead through the competition.

"Have been chasing gold for a long time"

- She has full control all the way and receives full dividends.

She has been chasing the gold for a long time, says SVT's expert Tobias Hellman.

Countrywoman Corinne Sutter finished second and Mikaela Shiffrin, who has not ridden super-G since last season, took bronze.

The competition is ongoing.

Today's two Swedes, Lin Ivarsson and Estelle Alphand's placements are not ready.
