Not played for a long time

The 33-year-old has not belonged to any team this season after he had to leave Dynamo Minsk in the KHL where he scored 25 points in 47 games last season.

- He is an ice-skating offensive play-skilled defender with many years of experience from games in Europe, mainly in the KHL.

As he has not played and trained with any team this season, it will certainly take a week or two before he can be expected to play close to his normal level, says Djurgården's strategic sports manager Joakim Eriksson to the club's website.

Belonged to several NHL teams

Gragnari has represented the Buffalo Sabers, Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils in NH, among others.

He also played in the Czech Republic and Switzerland and he was part of the Canadian team that won the Olympic bronze in 2018. In the 2017/2018 season, he scored the most points among the slopes in the KHL.

Last week, Djurgården recruited Ryan Stoa from HV71.
