Once before, Elias Ymer and Argentine Diego Schwartzman had bumped into each other.

Then in the US Open 2015 when the Argentine won in three straight sets.

Today it was time again when they met in the first round of the Australian Open and it was an even first set where Ymer, ranked 204 in the world, pushed the Argentine to a tiebreak, but where the Swede would eventually lose.

Schwartzman too strong

In the second set, the Swede would get a tough start when Schwartzman went from 3-1 and despite it swinging a bit back and forth, Ymer also lost this set.

But the Swede would get up in third when he showed really good play and in the end he won the set 6-2 after breaking the Argentine's serve twice.

However, Diego Schwartzman would show why he is ranked top 10 in the world when in the fourth set he easily broke the Swede's serve twice and went up to 4-0 and he won the set 6-2 and the match 6-7 (3-7 ), 4-6, 6-2, 2-6.

The younger brother Mikael Ymer, who is ranked 95th in the world, will face 26-ranked Hubert Hurkacz from Poland tomorrow Tuesday.
