The UAE Professional League and the Singaporean company "1Play Sports" announced the signing of a digital rights agreement, to allow the company specialized in the production and broadcasting of sports media, to broadcast the matches of professional competitions, namely: the Arabian Gulf League, the Arabian Gulf Cup, and the Super Gulf Cup, directly through its media channels. , In a pioneering step by the League, to reach new markets and viewers in different regions of the Asian continent, to enhance the promotion and spread of the Emirati competitions, which are pioneering at the continental level.

"The agreement will allow soccer fans to watch matches of one of the best soccer leagues in the Middle East and the Asian continent, according to the AFC classification, through the company’s display of matches throughout Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent across the country," the association said in a press release on Monday. Internet, with multiple language options for sports commentary for specific matches, including English, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Hindi.

She added, "In addition to the entire league season, 1Play Sports will broadcast certain matches, such as the Arabian Super Gulf Cup and the Arabian Gulf Cup."

 For his part, the Executive Director of the UAE Professional League, Walid Al Hosani, expressed his happiness with the signing of the digital rights agreement, stressing that it is an important step that serves the interests of the UAE Professional League and Emirati football in general.
