Hanna Öberg's WC in Antholz last year did not turn out as she had hoped.

There were barriers and missed podium places.

But in the end she managed to get a bronze at the mass start in the championship's last competition.

She remembers how hard it was sometimes.

- I was very disappointed after the relay, and then it felt like now "I shit in this".

But then I got very good support from the others in the team.

They entered the room and tried to talk about something other than just biathlon.

I think it meant a lot to just have a little company, so you felt that you were not alone, she says.

Now it is the 2021 World Cup and Slovenian Pokljuka that apply.

Öberg has had a great season in the World Cup with seven podium places and wins in Finnish Kontiolax at the beginning of the season.

- I look forward to the World Cup.

I've been a year wiser.

And just knowing a championship is a long time with many competitions I got proved to me last year.

It is possible to succeed even if it feels like the whole universe is against one, says Hanna Öberg.

She has the lessons from last year's championship with her.

- I'm really confident in myself.

I do not begin to doubt and doubt whether I would do any worse in a competition.

It is a good basic security, says the 25-year-old gold jumper.

Hanna Öberg has a World Cup gold from Östersund 2019 on her CV.

And she does not say it outright, but it is at the level she wants to be to feel satisfied when she goes home from Slovenia.

- It is clear that I want to do races that I am happy with.

And I know what level it is.

Then it depends a bit on what form everyone else is in as well, says Hanna Öberg.
