Series-leading Villa Lidköping was visited by runner-up Västerås in the hot summit in the elite series.

It was the third and last time the teams met this season.

The two previous meetings have both ended with a victory for Villa (7-2 and 5-2) and it initially looked as if Västerås would take home the last meeting.

But Villa wanted something else and fixed a 5-3 victory.

- It was a real press.

But Pernilla (Elardt, goalkeeper) is an alien.

She saves us several times, says Villas Viktoria Karlsson in Bandypul's broadcast after the match.

VSK took the lead

Västerås took the lead already after 1.41 when Charlotte Selbekk sent in 1-0.

The equalizer came just under 20 minutes into the match when Tilda Ström came free, rounded the goalkeeper and was able to put in 1-1.

Just ten minutes later, Villa had turned around and acquired a 3-1 lead.

Then Västerås took a timeout but Villa's dominance continued.

In the second half, Västerås worked their way into the match, but in the middle of the half, Villa Lidköping expanded further.

VSK reduced twice, but when they chased the equalizer, Villa Lidköping expanded instead.

Villa won 5-3 and now leads the series by four points.
