The Sharjah team strengthened its lead in the Hand League after overcoming the hurdle of its guest Al-Ain «31-23», in the match that brought the two teams together, the day before yesterday, at the opening of the eighth round of the first leg, which also recorded, Shabab Al-Ahly's victory over Al-Wahda 36-39, and Maliha On Bani Yas 36-22.

Sharjah maintained its unbeaten record, achieving the seventh success in a row, moving away from the full score in first place with 21 points, two points behind Maliha, who in turn jumped to second place, while Al Ain’s loss contributed to its retreat to third place, and allowing Al-Ahly youth to enter as a partner. This position scored 18 points each, and the losses of Al-Wehda and Baniyas kept the two teams in the eighth and last places, with 11 and eight points respectively.

Sharjah suffered during the first half of the Al-Ain meeting, after it settled with a score of 15-13, before succeeding in the second half by moving away gradually, and resolving the match 31-23.
