The two bottom teams Brynäs and Malmö met in a real anxiety meeting on Saturday.

Before the meeting, Brynäs had six straight losses, parked last in the table and approached a total crisis.

A victory against Malmö was therefore a must.

At the same time, Malmö also needed to pick up points to avoid the negative qualifying places.

In the end, it was the guests from Gävle who, after a tedious start, dominated and were able to fix three lead-heavy points.

- Everyone knew it was an important match.

We have these little things that are so important.

We work very hard for the team and it gives results, says Samuel Ersson in C More.

Brynäs took command

After a goalless first period, it was Brynäs who started the goal shooting 13.47 into the middle period.

The new acquisition Oula Palve, who had to leave Linköping in January, sent in 1-0.

It did not even take a minute of the middle period before Brynäs extended its lead.

Jaedon Descheneau sent in 2-0.

A nice revenge after he burned a super position just before the 1-0 goal.

Broke the club

After that, Malmö did not manage to work up any tempo and create dangerous situations despite having a powerplay close by.

Instead, Shane Harper, who assisted to 2-0, took advantage of a defensive mistake and with a quick shot sent in 3-0 in the cross.

In the final minutes, Emil Molin came free and was able to put an end to the match.

Instead, he smashed the club in the shot and shortly afterwards he went out for restraint.

But Malmö could not do any of its powerplay.

Brynäs won 3-0 and Samuel Ersson had to keep a clean sheet.

- Great fun that you get to step forward and make some crucial saves.

It gives both me and the team confidence, says Ersson.
