27 players in the Emirates national team squad, excluding Shaheen and Mohammed Juma

The technical staff of the national football team, led by Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk, decided to reduce the expanded list that had recently included 28 players to 27 in preparation for an internal camp starting from Saturday until next Wednesday within the framework of the national team preparation program for its remaining matches in the joint qualifying matches for the World Cup 2022 and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, as the team plays in Group G, which includes alongside it Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

 The new list saw the exclusion of both Sharjah players Shaheen Abdul Rahman and Shabab Al-Ahly Muhammad Jumaa Eid, while Al-Jazira player Muhammad Al-Attas was included.

The list included the players: Ali Khasif, Fahd Al-Dhanhani, Adel Al Hosani, Mohammed Al Shamsi, Bandar Al-Ahbabi, Muhammad Salih Barghash, Salem Rashid, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Hassan Al Mahrami, Walid Abbas, Mohammed Al-Attas, Mahmoud Khamis, Youssef Jaber, Saeed Ahmed, Majed Sorour, Majed Hassan, Ali Salmeen, Abdullah Ramadan, Khalil Al Hammadi, Fabio de Lima, Khalfan Mubarak, Tahnoun Al Zaabi, Ali Saleh, Kayo Canedo, Ali Mabkhout, Sebastian Tigali and Zayed Al Ameri.
