The captain of Al-Wahda team, Ismail Matar, said that he was not satisfied with the point Al-Annabi made, the day before yesterday, in the 15th round of the Arab Gulf League against Sharjah, and stressed in press statements after the match that "a draw with Sharjah is not a win for Al-Wahda."

He continued, "We are the Al Wahda team, and we play on our stadium. We are supposed to come out with a better result than a draw, with our respect for the leaders Sharjah."

He also said, "It is true that there are matches that when you draw a draw, you will gain, but in the Sharjah match, a tie was not a win for us, and we were supposed to get the three points."

He explained: “Sharjah was the best, and dominated the first half, scored the progress goal, and added another goal that was canceled (the mouse), and I imagine that not counting this goal was a turning point in the match, and the decision served unity, and facilitated the task of our return to the match in the second half.

And what I can say in the end, is that Al-Wahda could have added other goals after the draw, and Sharjah could have maintained its lead. ”

On the other hand, the coach of Al-Wahda, Serbian Razovic, said that the match was good for the two teams who were looking for victory, and that the result of the draw was logical, sympathetic to what the players offered.

He said during the press conference after the match, "We had good times in the match that we did not score, and they too had that. I say that we were better than the opponent at some times, especially in the second half, but the result ended in a draw."

He added: “In the first half we had some problems, and Sharjah was better, and this is normal, because we are playing a good team, and it has excellent players. In the second half, we were able to go back and score a tie, but things stopped at that. We played against Sharjah in the second half.

Sharjah goalkeeper, Adel Al Hosani stressed, in a press statement, that the result was fair to both parties, as each team controlled one half of the match.

He said, "Each team has given everything it has, and we have to think about ourselves and not look at the competitors' progress or their retreat. Whoever gets the title must win and not wait for gifts."

Sharjah maintained its score with 36 points before meeting Al Ain in the 16th round, while Al Wahda (23 points) will face Shabab Al Ahly.

Al-Anbari: I feel comfortable that Sharjah has performed better

Sharjah coach, Abdulaziz Al-Anbari, expressed his complete satisfaction with the draw, stressing in the press conference that "getting a point from Al-Wahda is a good thing for the team, not a loss."

He also said: “What relieves me after this confrontation is that Sharjah's performance was better, to play against Al-Wahda in its stadium. The confrontation will not be easy at all. What comforted me after this confrontation is that Sharjah’s performance was better than it was in recent matches. Because the league's career will be long and difficult for everyone.
