Kazuhiro Kiyohara, who played for professional baseball players such as Seibu and Giants, was allowed to recover his qualifications for teaching student baseball on the 5th, opening the way for high school and university students to teach in the future.

Mr. Kiyohara took the training conducted online from December to January last year with the aim of regaining the qualifications necessary for teaching student baseball.

On the 5th, a review was conducted by the Japan Student Baseball Association in Tokyo, and Mr. Kiyohara was allowed to recover his qualifications for teaching student baseball.

Seibu, Giants, and Kiyohara, who played for Orix, had a total of 2122 hits in the 23 years until he retired from active duty in 2008, and home runs marked a total of 525 hits, which is the fifth place in history.

However, in 2016, he was convicted of imprisonment for 2 years and 6 months and a suspended sentence of 4 years for crimes such as using stimulants, and the suspended sentence ended in June last year.

According to the guidelines for leaders of the Student Baseball Association, it is not suitable for leaders until five years have passed since the suspended sentence was completed.

For this reason, Mr. Kiyohara cannot teach immediately, but since June, four years later, he has opened the way to teach high school and university students.
