The camp of professional baseball Yakult in Urasoe City, Okinawa Prefecture is the third day.

Last month, veteran Nori Aoki, who became a close contact with the new coronavirus and spent a period of isolation, struck in batting practice and said, "It swings nicely and there is no problem with adjustment."

The oldest member of the team, 39-year-old Aoki, spent two weeks in quarantine last month when Munetaka Murakami, who had been training with him, was infected with the new coronavirus and was judged to be a close contact.

During the quarantine period, one person in the room worked hard on strength training while receiving guidance from a trainer online, but he could not practice baseball throwing or hitting at all.

On the 3rd, I went out to the ground first during the lunch break to practice batting in order to regain my senses by making a lot of transfers, and I was hitting liner-type balls one after another.

Also, from the afternoon, I was enthusiastically advising young pitchers on how to use their bodies by mixing with only one fielder in the pitcher practice held at the athletics stadium and sweating slowly in the core training.

Aoki said, "I started swinging the bat after I came to the camp, and I wanted to check how it felt, but I feel that I can do it in the last three days. It's swinging nicely and there is no problem. I think the adjustments will go on. Anyway, I hope I can move forward without any injuries. "
