SDHL fared better from corona infection for a long time than SHL.

But recently, several matches have been postponed due to contagion in the team - and now the league has decided to postpone the playoffs to catch up with all the matches.

- It is an extreme time as well as the season and there are a number of different alternatives and scenarios that have been reviewed before the upcoming finals.

Since we have an extensive spread of infection right now in several SDHL teams and the basic series' playing days go fast when match moves take place, we choose to postpone the playoffs for a week, says Gizela Ahlgren Bloom, sports director in SDHL.

Instead of February 19, the final round will be played on February 26.

Dates for the playoffs will be communicated later.

It is already clear that no team can be moved down or up from SDHL after the qualifying game has been canceled.
