Frida Karlsson is in charge of this weekend's sprint competitions in Ulricehamn and will take it a little calmer in the recharging before the WC in Oberstdorf, which starts on 23 February.

The last World Cup competition before the championship will be run in Czech Nove Mesto 20-21 February.

Both Finland and Norway have chosen to drop out of the competitions due to the contagion situation in Europe.

Several Swedish skiers now seem not to show up either.

Frida Karlsson's coach Per Nilsson tells SVT Sport that the competition is not part of her plan.

He believes that many of her national team colleagues do the same.

- The basis is to go but I do not think that many World Cup skiers will go there if there are any.

They will be in publishing in Sweden instead, he says.

National team manager Anders Byström writes in an SMS to SVT Sport that information about Nove Mesto will come tomorrow, Thursday.
