Last weekend, Charlotte Kalla made a strong season debut in the World Cup.

She finished seventh in Lahti.

In Falun this weekend, it was much heavier.

Yesterday, Kalla finished in 48th place and was broken afterwards.

- It was very heavy.

It felt like I had a handbrake in, she told SVT Sport.

"She was very sad"

After yesterday's heavy race, the national team management had a meeting.

- She was very sad yesterday, and frustrated of course when it felt so bad after a good weekend in Lahti.

We are investigating whether there may be something medical when it comes to covid, because she has had it, says country manager Anders Byström to SVT Sport.

- It takes time to come back, we know that.

But we know very little about the virus itself and how it affects in the long run.

We'll talk to her and see if we can help her.

"You can ask the doctors about that"

How do you investigate the situation?

- You can ask the doctors about that.

We had conversations yesterday and will start to see what we can do.

It's a new virus that we do not know much about, so it's hard to say what to do.

But the doctors probably know that.
