The Niçoise has just won her first fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the most important MMA (mixed martial arts) fighting league.

She comments: “I am nicknamed 'The beast' because it is something spectacular and quite rare, especially for a woman.

Once in the cage, I am so focused, I forget everything else ”.

The Niçoise knows that she has marked the history of this sport in France, whose federation is still being created, but she remains "focused on the future".

“I'm going to continue for five or six years but this will be my last combat sport, and then maybe I'll get into track and field.

As with other disciplines, my goal is to always go higher ”.
