Crowned world champion in 2019 at home, the Danish men's handball team remains at the top.
This Sunday, January 31, after the bronze medal taken by Spain against France (35-29), Denmark tamed Sweden in the final (26-24).
After a hotly contested match in Cairo, Mikkel Hansen and his teammates won.
They are the fourth in the history of handball to retain their title of world champions after Sweden (1954-1958), Romania (1961-1964, 1970-1974) and France (2009-2011, 2015-2017) .
