Zlatan Ibrahimovic used to be the safety himself from the penalty spot.

But this season it has not been so.

When he stepped forward to score his 13th goal of the season in the away match against Bologna, he missed again and he has now missed five of his last eight penalties.

Despite the miss, Milan were able to score when the Croatian Ante Rebic rushed forward on the return and scored the first goal of the match.

Did not take the second penalty

In the second half, Milan were penalized again when a Bologna defender took the ball with his hand in a close match with Zlatan.

But maybe it was Zlatan's bad result on penalties that made him not take this penalty.

Instead, Franck Kessié stepped forward and he managed it well and 2-0 to Milan.

Milan remains league leader

However, there would be excitement in the match when Andrea Poli reduced with ten minutes left.

But Milan would hold off in the end and are now back on the winning track again after last weekend's debacle against Atalanta.

With the victory, Milan consolidates the league lead and is now five points ahead of local rival Inter, although with one match more played.

Mattias Svanberg was given a chance to change things around.
