The Mediapro channel will continue to broadcast until February 3, the date corresponding to the 23 day of Ligue 1, a source with knowledge of the matter said on Friday.

The agreement with the League initially provided for a broadcast until January 31 corresponding to the end of the 22nd day of the championship.

The scenario of a broadcast that would go beyond this date is not excluded, according to the same source.

The Professional Football League (LFP) is awaiting offers on February 1 for the repurchase of matches initially purchased by the failing broadcaster Mediapro.
