Sweden is ready for the World Cup final, for the first time in 20 years, after the 32-26 win against star-studded France in the semifinals.

A fantastic team effort, says Swedish goalkeeper Andreas Palicka.

"We have the stars of the future"

- It's just a shame that you yourself are getting older and older and will not get to experience so many more years with these fantastic players, he says and continues.

- I said it to them before the match: On paper, there are very many of today's world stars in France and in our locker room, there are many of the future world stars.

In the TV interview after the match, Palicka said that he had sustained an injury.

But according to him, there is nothing that needs to be done a great deal of.

"Will be on Sunday"

- There's nothing I can not sew together with myself, I'm used to.

- I'll be standing there on Sunday.

And the semi-final match itself, the Swedish goalkeeper believes that Sweden ruled from start to finish.

- We were the better team over 60 minutes.

But honestly, this is totally sick.

We made a fantastic, spotless and perfect effort.

Sends love to Swedish viewers

- The feeling I feel in here (takes my hand to my heart) is sick then.

Andreas Palicka also takes the opportunity to send love to Swedish viewers.

- I am very grateful and happy for the love you give us.

We know the only one down here in Egypt.

It is a group of young, hungry players who are prepared to do anything for Swedish handball.

And I hope it can be seen on TV.
