According to the announcement, the "safe bubble" concept will protect the health of all participants, that is, in a safe environment, 16 teams of men and women will undergo regular and high-frequency COVID-19 tests, which will greatly reduce the risk of virus transmission. .

The round robin and finals will be held in the same venue, and the number of matches in each category will be the same as the original event.

The concept was developed after close consultation with the relevant personnel of the event, and the proposal was passed in the latest video conference of the VNL Council earlier in Switzerland.

After obtaining the approval of the VNL Council, the FIVB will start negotiations with the organizers who are willing to host the game. It is planned to announce the host country and game schedule in February this year.

According to the schedule announced last year, the World Volleyball League was originally planned to compete in the sub-station competition from May 11 to June 10. The finals will be held in Nanjing, China from June 23 to June 27. The Chinese women's volleyball team will be in succession. Beilun, Tianjin, Macau, Hong Kong and Jiangmen faced 15 opponents at home.
