Shinji Kagawa, a former Japanese national football team who left the club of the Spanish 2nd division last year, will be transferred to PAOK of the Greek 1st division.

This was announced by the club on the official website on the 27th.

Kagawa is 31 years old from Hyogo prefecture.

He has been active as a midfielder for the Japanese national team for a long time and has scored 31 goals in 97 games in total.

He has participated in the World Cup twice, the 2014 Brazil Tournament and the 2018 Russia Tournament.

He has also played for strong clubs such as Dortmund in the German Premier League and Manchester United in the English Premier League.

Last season I played in Zaragoza, the second division of Spain, but due to injuries and other factors, I only scored four goals and left the team last October to find a new affiliation.

According to the club's announcement, the contract period is one and a half years, and the uniform number has been decided to be "23" which I have been assigned so far.

PAOK is ranked 4th out of 14 teams at the end of 18 league games this season.
