Örebro took the lead in both the first and second period, but both times Växjö had time to equalize before it was time for a break.

Richard Gynge scored the 2-2 goal, but was not happy before the final period.

- They create too many chances, this is not our hockey, Gynge told C More.

But in the last period, the sniper got to see the Växjö game he was looking for.

Gynge lifted in 3-2 - his 15th goal of the season - on a pass from Robert Rosén and soon Erik Josefsson and Andrew Calof diluted with 4-2 and 5-2.

Eleven straight points matches

Three goals in the space of four minutes - and Örebro was a beaten team.

Calof then increased to 6-2 when the elimination continued in the third period.

- We have put in a hard job to be where we are, been very dedicated and careful.

But we have a couple of levels that I hope we will be able to lift in toughness and determination, Växjö's coach Sam Hallam told C More.

Table runner-up Växjö has now taken points in eleven straight games - the last loss during regular time was on the second day of Christmas - and on the home ice, "Lakers" has taken 50 of their 72 points.

And finally, Hallam also admitted that he was happy after the victory.

- I enjoy, but I can not stand here on TV and smack contentedly, he said.

"Too bad of us"

On the other hand, there was no room for any pleasure with Örebro's coach Niklas Eriksson after the crash in the final period.

He was disappointed with how the players gave away the puck at a couple of Växjömålen.

- We do two good periods in Växjö, until the beginning of the third it is an even hockey match.

That it then ends 6-2 is a bit strange, he told C More and continued:

- It's too bad of us.

We know which team we face and what form they are in. Then it is important to play a little more frugally in the third period.

Örebro remains in fifth place in the SHL table.
