Shabab Al-Ahly climbed to the semi-finals of the Arab Gulf Cup for football in their own right, after yesterday's 5-0 victory over Khor Fakkan in the second leg of the quarter-finals, and after winning the first leg 4-2.

Shabab Al-Ahly quickly entered the match with a surprise goal, in the first minute, through the Brazilian Jesus, taking advantage of a defensive error, to shoot the ball to the left of the goalkeeper.

Shabab Al-Ahly managed to add two successive goals, before returning to the dressing room, through Eduardo, after completing Jesus' shot (43). A minute later, Muhammad Jumaa "Pele" scored a goal with individual effort, and in the second half, he expanded the difference with two more goals from substitute Ahmed Al-Hashemi (80), then the other substitute goal, Saeed Ahmed, with a single effort (84).
