On November 8th, 33 participants took part in the toughest regatta in the world.

They wanted to circumnavigate the world alone at the Vendée Globe, covering around 24,000 nautical miles, i.e. over 44,000 kilometers - without using outside help or setting foot on land.

The record time of the previous eight events is just over 74 days.

Boris Herrmann from Hamburg is taking part for the first time.

He wages a fight against the sea, but above all against himself. Now he is in the dramatic finale.

The logbook.

hardness
