Former PSG coach Thomas Tuchel was officially appointed Chelsea coach on Tuesday after signing an 18-month contract.

The German succeeds Frank Lampard at the head of a team that occupies 9th place in the English championship, four points from qualifying places for the Champions League.

Removed from his post at PSG just before Christmas, the German succeeds Frank Lampard at the head of a team which occupies 9th place in the English championship, four points from qualifying places for the Champions League.

He will be on the bench for Wednesday's Matchday 20 game against Wolverhampton.
