Argentina reduced by 45 seconds left to play, and then failed to decide the match definitively.
Instead, Argentina got the chance to go to one last finish and equalize - but Qatar's goalkeeper saved the finish in the last second.
With Qatar's victory, they currently have the group's second place and are currently Sweden's quarterfinal opponents.
But if Croatia takes points against the already clear group winner Denmark in the match that starts at 20.30, Croatia will go over Denmark and face Sweden in the quarterfinals.
