Last season, Lias Andersson left his then NHL club New York Rangers and farm club Hartford Whalers after having a hard time mentally for a period.

Instead, Andersson went to HV71 in the SHL.

In June, he declined to return to Rangers, who said they wanted him back.

Instead, he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings last fall.

Five days ago he made his debut in the new club and tonight came the first full hit.

- It was of course very fun, especially as I had quite a lot of chances but could not put the puck before, says Lias Andersson to Aftonbladet.

The Swedes delivered

After the tough period, Andersson is now happy about the successes.

- It feels good, absolutely.

I play in a chain with Gabriel Vilardi and Dustin Brown and we work really well together, I think.

Now it's just a matter of not being happy with this, he says.

Teammate Carl Grundström also netted in the winning match against St.

Louis.

The third Swede in Kings, Adrian Kempe assisted to two goals.
