A proper humiliation and a statistic for history.

By winning widely with their regional rival on Sunday night (0-5), OL passed Saint-Etienne for the first time since 1957 in the number of direct confrontations: 45 wins to 44, for 33 draws.

Obviously immense satisfaction for Jean-Michel Aulas, who congratulated his men on twitter.

“It's good to win this 122nd derby which allows us to take the lead with 45 victories: the first time since 1957… Bravo to Juni Rudi and Memphis and Karl, the OL institution is at the top, and bravo to our supporters too who gave everything this morning ”.

The latter had indeed gathered in large numbers to encourage the Lyon bus before its departure for the short trip to the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium, a boost appreciated by the players, like Bruno Guimaraes: "We are very, very happy to this superb victory.

It was really important the support of the supporters this morning.

It is for them this victory.

I am very happy to have helped the team.
